Adv Solid Modeling/Solidworks (SPDI-490)

Advanced Solid Modeling picks up where 3-D CADD left off. We will focus on developing surfaces, sheet metal parts and advanced assemblies. We will also experiment with SolidWorks Xpress mechanical simulation and Photo 360 imaging software. A strong emphasis will be placed on generating quality engineering drawing that meet ISO and ANSI standards. This class is designed to prepare students to take the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA), which is an industry-recognized credential for engineers and mechanical designers.
