Sociology of Consumption (SOC-390)
ONLINE: Beginning with the premise of a consumer society, this course analyses the complex role that consumption plays in the construction of identity and the commodification of culture and experience. Special focus will be paid to the issues of structure and agency, social class, gender, nature, and space.
