Perspectives in Education (ISWGS-399)

ONLINE In this class we will examine contemporary educational topics such as issues of class/race/gender/sexuality in education, school funding, the accountability movement (e.g., No Child Left Behind), access to school (including access to higher ed.), standardized testing, issues of curriculum, and similar topics. An individual orientation with the professor will be scheduled at students' convenience.
