Topics will include play selection; casting; play analysis and identification of dramatic action; blocking; creating visual and aural aesthetics through set, costume, lighting, and sound design; vocal and physical warm-ups for actors; enlisting the support of fellow theatre artists volunteers; developing a working prompt book; and marketing a production.
