Creativity: Classroom & Beyond (EDUC-595)
Creativity in the Classroom and Beyond: This course will examine the concept of creativity from a variety of perspectives, including physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive. Students in this course will: 1. gain an understanding of and appreciation for creativity and its role in learning, teaching, and in meeting life's challenges; 2. Explore ways in which this understanding can be used to nurture and support the qualities of resourcefulness, inventiveness, and ingenuity in both students and educators. The course will be conducted in a collaborative learning style using a combination of individual study, lecture, and discussion.
