The CML's collection emphasizes pre-K to grade 12 mathematics, science, language arts, reading, geography, social studies, school and career counseling, and vocational education teaching materials. The collection contains approximately 13,500 items including curriculum models, books, videos, periodicals, activity guides, research reports, media software, games, kits, and textbook sets. Subject bibliographies are available which may help you navigate the collection and find materials on specific subjects.
The CML has the following special collections:
- The New Hampshire Geography Alliance Collection contains maps, videos, books, CD-ROMs, and educational games.
- The Safe Schools Collection was established to help teachers and administrators as they address the issue of making and keeping schools safe. The collection consists of curricula, videos, games, and teacher training materials about anger management, violence and bullying prevention, conflict resolution, diversity, social skills, and humane education.
- Vocational-Technical Curriculum Collection consists of approximately 500 curricula about all aspects of vocational-technical education.
Searching the Collection
Keene-Link, the online catalog, offers both author, title, subject, and keyword searching. The screen will show which materials are held in the CML-the record will show KSC/Curric. Mat. Library.
