On May 25, 1942, Max Werkendam wed Clara de Vries in the heart of amsterdam's Old Jewish Quarter, in Nazi-occurpied Holland. The film of this wedding has been uncovered after 50 years and becomes the focus of the story of the ill-fated couple and guests, most of whom did not survive the war (Not recommended for below college level.)
