Upon completing a B.A. in Communication, students will be able to:

• Create and articulate informed messages–including arguments–in speaking and writing
• Demonstrate an understanding of the means by which the communication of beliefs, values, and attitudes shapes and informs cultural and social differences among groups of individuals
• Engage in research, using appropriate analytical methods and tools
• Articulate the ways messages are evaluated from a variety of ethical perspectives
• Analyze and evaluate communication, using contemporary and historically significant theoretical frameworks
