Welcome to the Biology department at Keene State College. Our department offers both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a Biology minor.  Our educational purpose is to facilitate our students’ exploration of the natural world and to offer them the insights and skills they need to interpret their discoveries and to function as scientifically literate citizens.

The Bachelor of Arts in Biology provides an introduction to the discipline and an opportunity to integrate the study of Biology with another field.

The Bachelor of Science in Biology provides undergraduate training for entering technical employment, graduate school, or professions such as medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, teaching, forestry, and wildlife management.
