Application for Academic Affairs Assessment Fund

BACKGROUND

The Academic Affairs Assessment Fund was created by the VPAA to support departments and programs engaging in activities that focus on assessment of the curriculum or student learning.

The Academic Affairs Assessment Advisory Committee is responsible for reviewing proposals for funding. Priorities for funding include the following:

  • involvement of a team of faculty
  • activities that will result in change in the departmental culture about assessment
  • activities that can be used as models for other departments or programs


The maximum funding that is available is $2500 per request. Proposals must utilize USNH guidelines for travel and expenses. Faculty are encouraged to call the Academic Affairs Assessment Advisory Committee Chair (Ellen Nuffer 8-2298 or enuffer@keene.edu) for support in developing a proposal.

FOLLOW-UP

All recipients of funding must:

  • plan on participating in the Assessment Showcase to be held during Professional Development Weeks
  • submit a follow-up report on activity outcomes to the Academic Affairs Assessment Advisory Committee Chair

  • How do you plan to sustain this activity in the future?
