Accreditation at Keene State College
Accreditation is an internal review process to improve academic programs. Following the guidelines stipulated by various accreditation organizations, corresponding academic units conduct self-examination on their functional areas against the standards developed by those accreditation organizations.
Currently, Keene State College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and College (NEASC). Its Teacher Education program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), Health Science Nutrition Option by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), and Athletic Training program by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
