About the Alumni Center

The Alumni Center Main, Winchester, and Marlboro Streets, The location is easily accessible to the Keene community and links the College with its neighbors while serving as a welcoming presence to visitors and community members alike.

The building has many dynamic features:

• More than 21,000 square feet of space
• ADA-compliant
• Environmentally friendly building materials:
  • Occupancy sensing lighting
  • Roof made of recycled materials
  • Porous pavement designed to divert storm water underground and minimize the impact on city drainage
  • Low VOC paints
  • R40 insulation to maximize thermal efficiency and sound absorption
  • Recycling units on each floor
• Facilities designed for meeting spaces, conference rooms, and project space for students to meet with alumni, potential employers, representatives from organizations, alumni volunteers and others
• Centennial Hall, a large multi-use event hall will seat 100 for banquet style meals and 280 for theatre-style programming
• Calling and survey center to student volunteers to engage and reach out to alumni and parents
• Alumni library including past issues of the Kronicle yearbook, college course catalogs, past issues of Keene State Today, and College newspapers
• Space for alumni and students to meet and socialize
• A portion of the facility, designated the Barry Alumni House, continues the legacy of the Colleges first alumni director, Fred Barry `36

Bringing KSC to the World, Bringing the World to KSC

While the Alumni Center is a central location for alumni as they connect and reconnect with the College, it is also home to the Advancement Division. Under the direction and guidance of Vice President of Advancement, Maryann Lindberg, the Division works to raise awareness of, and interest in, Keene State College through communication, programming, and fundraising.
