The Alumni Association Board has shifted its committee structure and now includes a couple that specifically incorporate student support into their mission. Each Committee is chaired by a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and is made up of board members and alumni volunteers.
The Students as Future Alumni committee’s purpose is built around student engagement. They have been strategically working to build exposure to alumni and begin setting the expectation that students will become engaged alumni once they graduate through partnerships across campus. Some of their efforts include the Orientation Scavenger Hunt for incoming freshman, alumni panels, the KSC eMentoring Network and a senior celebration that recognizes the accomplishment of graduation and welcomes them into the Alumni Association.

The Career Committee is striving to offer additional career supports to students and alumni. They work very closely with the Academic & Career Advising Office to offer additional resources throughout the school year. They are instrumental in offering resume reviews, mock interviews and assistance at job fairs as well as the KSC eMentoring Network.
