Tuition & Fees – Undergraduate
Approximately 71 percent of our students receive some kind of financial assistance.
Each year, Keene State College commits a considerable amount of its own resources to supplement federal and
state aid programs. Some of this aid is specifically for first-year students.
In a new program at Keene State, First-Year Student Scholarships are now available to certain students based on
academic performance. These renewable scholarships provide up to $3,500 a year. These scholarships are limited, and
are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Scholarships are also provided to students with exceptional performing, artistic, or other academic talent.
Recipients are selected by faculty committees within the Arts and Humanities (for theatre and music students, based
on auditions, and art students, based on portfolios), Sciences, and Professional Studies Divisions.
Financial assistance includes scholarships, loans, and the College's Work-Study Program. Students take jobs in
campus offices, in residence halls, on the grounds, and with the recreational sports department. If you are eligible for
work-study employment, you'll attend a job fair to apply for a position.
For more information visit Student
Financial Services.
Students will also spend an average of $600 for books and supplies and will need to budget for personal and
travel expenses during the academic year. Tuition and fees may be changed by the Board of Trustees of the
University System of New Hampshire.
