It has been a lot easier getting adjusted to school than I thought it would be.
Adult Students At Keene State College
We use the term “adult” to refer to any new student who is 24 years or older, who has been a veteran or is still in active duty, who has been working for four or more years, or who is managing multiple roles such as parent, homemaker, employee, and student. Many of our adult students are starting college for the first time or looking for ways to balance a number of personal or professional commitments. Regardless of your schedule, we can help you find a way to put it all together and to fit into our close-knit community.
Interested in college but not sure how to get started? Meet with Bert Poirier, the associate director of Admissions, for assistance in formulating your educational goals, understanding the objectives, requirements of a liberal arts and professional degree.

Are you looking to transfer credits into a degree program? The most important first step is to have the institution where you earned your credits send a copy of your transcript to Keene State College for evaluation. You can arrange for this by contacting the registrar’s office from the institution where you previously earned credits and have them send the transcript to us at the Admissions Office, Keene State College, 229 Main St., Keene, NH 03435-2604. Once your transcript is received, it will be reviewed by the transfer advisors, who have offices in the Academic and Career Advising Center in Elliot Hall. The transfer advisors are Jen Drake-Deese firstname.lastname@example.org (603-358-2455) and Phoebe Price email@example.com (603-358-2463). For more information about the process, call Jen or Phoebe or Academic and Career Advising
