Activities
Whatever your interests might be, there is a club or organization for you at Keene State College.
Nearly 100 academic, sport, and social organizations, societies, and clubs provide
leadership opportunities and co-curricular learning experiences. KSC also seeks to enrich students' lives by sponsoring
events and speakers that reflect diversity of cultures and perspectives. If you don't see the club you want, start a new
one!
The Social Activities Council (SAC) is the major programming group for student events, sponsoring concerts, comedy
shows, speakers, dances, and other special events. Among the artists who have performed at KSC are Dana Carvey, the
Wailers, LIVE, Steven Wright, the Lemonheads, the Ramones, Blues Traveler, Patty Larkin, Chris Rock, Paula Poundstone,
and the Violent Femmes.
Community Service Clubs
Last year, KSC students contributed at least 12,000 hours in organized volunteer activities. At Keene State, we
believe in the idea of "service learning," taking what we learn in the classroom and putting it to work in the real
world.
