Marney joined the Keene State College community after working in Massachusetts, Michigan and New York. Marney has nearly 20 years of experience in Student Affairs with her primary focuses in Residence Life and Housing, Title IX, Community Standards, and ADA/504 at the collegiate level.

As the Dean of Students, Marney’s role on the Student Engagement leadership team serves as a community focused advocate for students, while working in partnership with colleagues across the campus. Through case management and supportive outreach, Marney provides oversight for the Community Standards process and Student Handbook, supports faculty and staff in addressing student needs and challenges, navigates and directs student crisis management and behavioral threat assessment. Working compassionately to assist students as they navigate the college experience is a passion, and she is honored to join Keene State College and live locally in the Keene community.

Marney’s degree is in Student Affairs in Higher Education is from Indiana University of PA, with her bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY which she thankfully credits for her love of Student Life.
