Approved Anti-virus for KSC Network

Overview

Students connecting to the campus network with a PC are required to install a KSC allowed antivirus software.

Note: You should have only ONE antivirus software program installed on your computer at one time. Before you install a new program, you must uninstall any anti-virus software you currently have on your system.

  • Microsoft OneCare - (includes: Security Essentials, Forefront and Windows Defender)*

* Windows 8 comes with Windows Defender.

PC only: Security Essentials anti-virus software is the anti-virus software the HelpDesk will install if you experience difficulties connecting to the network with a different program.

  • TrendMicro for Mac
