Each semester, sociology students volunteer their time to design and conduct research projects for nonprofits and public agencies, providing a service that these organizations have been crying out for, says Therese Seibert, associate professor of sociology and director of the Community Research Center.

Students have worked on more than 20 projects for such organizations as the City of Keene, Monadnock United Way, the Keene Family YMCA, and Southwestern Community Services.
