Dr. Peter Stevenson is an Assistant Professor of Sociology for the Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology department. He earned his B.S., Sociology and Criminal Justice in 1993, an M.A., in Sociology in 1996 and his Ph.D. in Sociology in 2000, all from Western Michigan University. In Criminology, he's done comprehensive examinations of white collar crime and measurement of crime. In Social Psychology, he's focused on gender and deviance issues.

In addition to his position at Keene State, Dr. Stevenson is also a visiting lecturer at The Centre for Social Studies at The Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He's also served as External Examiner for numerous M.A. Theses’ and Ph.D. Dissertations’

Dr. Stevenson teaches Introductory Sociology, Sociological Quantitative Analysis, Sociological Theory, Criminology, Introduction to Criminal Justice Studies, Mind, Self and Society, Juvenile Delinquency, Sociology of Sport and White Collar Crime.
