2013 PAS Day of Percussion at Keene State College
For the third straight year, the New Hampshire/Maine Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society is presenting a Day of Percussion (DoP) at KSC. This year’s visiting artists include Rob Patterson (Director of the American Modern Ensemble in NYC), Matt Ward (Talujon Percussion Quartet, Queens College), and Amy Williams (composer, University of Pittsburg).
The schedule for Thursday, December 5th is:
11:30AM – PAS information session
12PM – Rob Patterson, six-mallet marimba masterclass
1PM – Matt Ward, percussion masterclass
2PM – Panel Discussion on College Teaching (also Q&A for prospective college students)

7:30PM - Concert of the Keene State College Percussion Ensemble directed by Christopher Swist and Murray Mast. Compositions by Rob Patterson, Amy Williams, and Christopher Swist as well as featuring KSC faculty member Marcia Lehninger soloing in Lou Harrison’s Concerto for Violin and Percussion Orchestra.
