Amy St. Louis ‘14

Amy St. Louis

“Since my first year I’ve been singing with the Keene State Jazz Ensemble,” says music education major Amy St. Louis.

“I remember going to the Jazz Ensemble concert first semester freshman year and seeing the singers and saying, Oh, I really want to do that.”

She auditioned and made the cut, and has performed with the ensemble every semester since.

“I get to do a wide variety of things, from ‘Anything Goes’ to an Aretha Franklin song. It’s a lot of fun, and a really neat experience to work with a live band. I get to perform in a style that not a lot of people here get to perform, at least vocally, which is exciting.”
