Professional Interests: Specializes in pre-service music teacher training, choral and general music methods, conducts auditioned choral ensemble, KSC Chamber Singers. Research interests include biases in solo vocal adjudication, teacher effectiveness, and teachers’ reflective processes.

Professional Background: Previously served on faculty at Kennett Middle and Senior High Schools, Conway, NH; Granite State College, Conway, NH; Blue River Community College, Blue Springs, MO; University of Missouri-Kansas City, Conservatory of Music and Dance, Kansas City, MO. Previous director/conductor of New Vocal Collective, Conway, NH; Kansas City Children’s Choir, Kansas City, MO. Guest lecture residency Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater, MA.

Awards & Accolades: KSC Department of Music Faculty Member of the Year; UMKC Women’s Council Outstanding Merit Award Recipient; Advisory Board Member, Music Educators Journal; President-Elect, New Hampshire Music Educators Association; Treasurer, NH Chapter of American Choral Directors Association; frequent guest conductor and clinician for choral festivals.
