Ensembles

The Department of Music welcomes all members of the Keene State community to participate in its ensembles. Music majors and minors are required to perform in large and small ensembles. All members of department ensembles are required to wear appropriate performance attire. Please see the ensemble director early in the semester for instructions on what is appropriate for the ensemble. Male students in band, choir, and orchestra will need to purchase a black tuxedo and black shoes. Previously rented tuxedos can be purchased at reduced cost at most formal wear stores.

Special note
Students may register for ensembles for either 0 or 1 credit's. With online registration, you must indicate whether you're taking an ensemble for credit by marking a '1' in the 'credits' box. Otherwise, the system defaults to zero credits.
