Program Benefits

The benefits of the Honors Program are:

Honors Program Student
  • Small classes and active learning environments.
  • The opportunity to deeply understand and critically reflect on the intersection of multiple disciplines.
  • The possibility to experience a living/learning community. If you decide to be a residential student, you will be housed with other honors students. As a first year living/learning community, Honors students will have opportunities for events and special activities together.
  • Honors Program students will have priority registration. This means that Honors students will be among the very first from the freshmen cohort to register for classes and will get the first choices of classes.
