Our neighbor Canada is less than four hours from Keene State College, and while we share some commonalities there are interesting cultural, historical and, in the case of Quebec province, linguistic differences that make studying away in Canada an exciting and meaningful destination. It is said that close to one-third of all people from northern New England have some Quebecoise ancestry. Visit this vibrant country that is not so far away geographically, yet is definitely not the United States!
KSC students have the opportunity to study at Canadian universities in both English speaking provinces and in Quebec, which is French speaking. Even in Quebec, there are some universities that have English as the language of instruction. Possibilities abound – from universities in large urban centers like Montreal to universities in more rural places like Nova Scotia or Newfoundland.
