Dr. Skye Stephenson

Skye Stephenson, GEO Director, holds a doctorate in international relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. She is an international educator, professor and author who believes passionately in the power of global learning to help transform our world. Skye ran a study away program in Chile for more than a decade, and has served as Latin American Program Regional Director for two study away providers. She was also Political Science Assistant Professor at the University of Redlands, a JET Fellow in Japan, and First Year Dean at Landmark College.

Skye works closely with the Pluriversidad Amwatay Wasi of Ecuador, an intercultural institution closely connected with the indigenous nationalities and peoples of Ecuador. In 2013, she co-led a KSC Honors course to Ecuador. In 2014, Skye enjoyed teaching a course in Stress Management for the Health Sciences Department.

Skye is fluent in Spanish, and can get by in Portuguese. She is the proud mother of two bi-national adult children. One is a KSC graduate. In her free time, she enjoys writing, researching spirituality, and practicing crystal healing.
