Decision Point Five:

Eligibility Check for Recommendation for Endorsement for NH Certification

EC/ELED/SPED Secondary K-12
  • Degree completion (clearance from Registrar)
  • Financial Clearance from Bursar
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50 in declared Liberal Arts major
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 in Program Option courses
  • C or better in all Program Option courses
  • Subject area assessment submitted, as required by NH for certification
  • A “2-Meets Expectations” or an “3-Exceeds Expectations” must be achieved in the Summative Clinical Field Experience Evaluation form from Student Teaching, completed by site supervisor*
  • “A “2-Developing” or a “3-Acceptable” must be achieved in the Dispositions Assessment form from Student Teaching, completed by) site supervisor*

Early Childhood:* The student teaching faculty of record, in consultation with the site supervisor evaluations, will assess whether the student has successfully passed this portion of Decision Point 5.

  • Financial Clearance from Bursar -Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50 in declared Liberal Arts major
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50 in EDUC and EDSP courses
  • C or better in all EDUC and EDSP courses
  • Subject area assessment submitted, as required by NH for certification, and/or program-approved equivalent final content assessment submitted
  • A “2-Meets Expectations” or an “3-Exceeds Expectations” must be achieved in the Summative Clinical Field Experience Evaluation form from Student Teaching, completed by college supervisor

Office Responsible for Review:

  • Educator Preparation Office

Student Responsible for:

  • Subject area assessment submitted, as required by NH for certification and/or program-approved equivalent final content assessment scores
  • Meeting academic program requirements, including any necessary paperwork
  • Meeting KSC financial obligations

Faculty Responsible for:

  • Dispositions Assessment from Student Teaching completed by student teaching supervisor
  • Dispositions Assessment from Student Teaching completed by cooperating teacher
  • Program-specific Student Teaching Final Evaluation ( as applicable to program), completed by student teaching supervisor ( if applicable)
  • Program-specific Student Teaching Final Evaluation ( as applicable to program), completed by cooperating teacher (if applicable)
