Starring Academy Award winner William Hurt as Varian Fry, the American Schindler. An American journalist working in Europe at the outbreak of World War II, Varian Fry was appalled at the Nazi atrocities he witnessed. He became driven to fight against nazi brutality, recognizing that action had to be taken if Jews, artists, intellectuals and European heritage were to survive.
