60 Minutes: Searching for Jacob

Air Date: 10/22/06 When the Sudanese town of Hangala was bombed and burned by government forces, there were only a few signs of life left behind, among them the school books of a boy named Jacob. In a compelling story of the genocide in Darfur, Scott Pelley goes searching for Jacob – a journey that takes him into dangerous territory in the Sudan, and then into a densely packed refugee camp in Chad, where Pelley learns Jacob’s fate.
