Software Engineer - GUI
Our client, located in Nashua, NH, a dynamic, growing company in a cutting edge, highly creative industry is seeking a talented Software Design Engineer to join its software team developing user friendly and creative Windows-based applications and Graphical User Interfaces for its scientific visualization and multimedia theater production software.
Must be a self-starter who can collaborate effectively and work independently to create state-of-the-art, world class user experiences for their international clients.
We are looking for a recent college graduate or someone with up to three years of relevant experience designing custom graphical user interfaces for desktop applications using Microsoft .NET languages, preferably C#. Experience or course work with multi-threaded applications is essential. The ability to quickly adapt and work from another engineers code is important.
Working knowledge of a .NET language using WPF and data binding concepts and design patterns. Adept at identifying ways of presenting complex systems in an easy-to-follow, user friendly and graphically efficient form. An aptitude for creating visually appealing graphical user interfaces. Good intuition for software architecture, designing optimized algorithms and software design for long term product viability is important.
Candidates with experience using C/C++, VB.NET, developing mobile applications, database applications, automation or graphical editing systems, and with the love of tinkering with new technologies will be given special consideration.
