Job Description

This is a well compensated long-term opportunity for the right candidate. Seeking a career-minded person to provide Industrial Hygiene technical services for a large aerospace facility.

Responsibilities include:
Conduct Indoor Air Quality surveys.
Respond to employee industrial hygiene concerns
Interview employees and complete routine personal air sampling
Maintain calibration and repair of an extensive IH equipment laboratory
Conduct dosimetry and noise surveys
Conduct respirator fit testing training and employee counseling.
Perform local exhaust ventilation surveys and audit their completion.
Work performed under a Certified Industrial Hygienist.

Ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who can work with little supervision. Must be able to complete projects from start to finish. Candidate should be able to observe worker practices and record data accurately; be well versed in Microsoft Office especially Excel. Ideal candidate has excellent skills communicating with factory employees. Experience in industrial hygiene sampling and/or occupational safety & environmental health in an aerospace environment is a plus.
