Credit by Examination
The Advanced Placement (AP) is a program offering college-level curriculum and exams to high school students.
The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) is a collection of standardized tests that allow students to receive college credit for what they already know. Demonstrated proficiency within specific disciplines through examination will allow students to bypass elective coursework.
DSST (formerly DANTES Subject Standardized Tests) are standardized tests overseen by the Department of Defense's Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) program. The program contains over 30 exams, each demonstrating proficiency comparable to their respective undergraduate college courses.
