Dear New Student:

Keene State College is issuing you a new MyKSC account and e-mail address. MyKSC is Keene State College's student portal and serves as an access point for all student web services. Your MyKSC e-mail address is where the College will send official notifications and communications to you.

MyKSC, student portal
MyKSC is a student web portal which serves as a primary means of communication between Keene State College and its students. The site is your place to access your grades, register for courses, view your transcript and class schedule, as well as track your degree progress. Students can also pay their bills, reserve electronic library resources and order books on-line all through the portal services and/or links contained in MyKSC. MyKSC includes personal tools, such as e-mail, organizational calendars and personal task lists, and space for personal web pages. MyKSC also includes community tools for students to access KSC clubs, campus announcements and news items.

Keene State College informs students of important deadlines, dates and events; such as registration timelines, housing selection processes and financial aid deadlines, through the E-Mail, Announcements and News features on MyKSC. Students are allowed up to 10MB of e-mail storage and 10MB of personal file storage through MyKSC.

Blackboard is a Web-based software program used by faculty to reach students through the Web and enhance the college learning process. Students can access Blackboard through MyKSC, and MyKSC is accessible from any computer that is connected to the Internet.

MyKSC e-mail
Check your e-mail account regularly as information sent to you using your MyKSC e-mail account is considered official notification from the College. You are responsible for keeping yourself up-to-date in regards to e-mail communications from the College. KSC maintains your student e-mail address and considers this your official address while you are enrolled here.

1. Point your Web browser to http://prod.campuscruiser.com/myksc/ or from the College home page (www.keene.edu), click on MyKSC under Student Life, which is located along the left-hand side of the page.
2. Once there, click the What's my User ID? option on the left sidebar. Enter your Last Name in the Last Name box and your (9) digit social security number (no dashes) in the ID# box, and then click the Submit button.
3. Your User ID will be displayed on the screen. Write it down! It is important to remember your User ID as it is required to log into MyKSC and Blackboard.
4. Click on the Log In button and enter your User ID and your MyKSC password, which is your birthdate.
5. Accept the agreement between yourself and Campus Cruiser. Not accepting the agreement means you won't be able to log in to MyKSC.
6. You will then be prompted to change your password and create a password hint, just in case you ever forget it. You should provide an alternate e-mail address. If you forget your password and need to use the What is my password? feature your new password will be sent to your alternate e-mail address. If you don't have an alternate e-mail address for password emergencies you will need to contact the Helpdesk to reset your password. This takes at least 24 hours during the week, and takes longer during weekends and holidays.
7. Your MyKSC e-mail address is your User ID (see Step 3) followed by @ksc.mailcruiser.com. For example, if your User ID is jdoe2, your e-mail address would be jdoe2@ksc.mailcruiser.com
