Career Connections Events for Spring 2008
Career Connections is a series of networking events held throughout the academic year highlighting major career fields at Keene State College. These events offer students an opportunity to talk one-on-one with local and regional employers in an informal setting and to learn about internships and career opportunities. Employers have an opportunity to acquaint students with the company they represent and the career paths available.

Job Fair Tips

Before attending a job fair it is advisable to view a 16 minute video called "How to Make a Job Fair Work for You" available in the Career Resource Center. Knowing what to expect and how to approach employers will enable students to use the limited contact time well. Job fair contacts are considered screening interviews to determine if there is mutual interest. When there is a good match additional interviews are scheduled. Always dress for a job fair as you would for an important interview; professional dress is expected.
