What is a job interview? It is an exchange of information between an employer and potential employee. A job interview is one of the most important parts of a job search and an opportunity for you to promote your skills, knowledge, experience and the value you will bring to the organization.

Informational Interviews

Trying to decide between a few career directions you want to pursue after graduation? Not sure of the skills, education, etc. you need to be successful in a career field? Want to start building a professional network? If you answered yes to any of these questions then informational interviewing is right for you. Informational interviews are an opportunity to gain information and advice on careers fields or job search strategies through one-on-one conversations with individuals working in a particular field.

Dress for Success

First impressions are CRITICAL in a job interview. A significant part of the hiring decision is made based on non-verbal cues including handshake, eye contact, clothing and grooming.
